E+O Kitchen

Disappointed based off the glowing reviews. The food was okay at best, but definitely well below the price point. We split a variety of dishes and the brussel sprout salad was probably the best. The sushi was average but overpriced. Rolls had some intriguing combinations but the sushi grade fish itself was subpar. The place was well decorated but the tv in the midst of a fancy atmosphere seemed distracting. I would have been okay with the smaller portions if the food was executed well or high quality ingredients but I did not find that to be the case. Was also confused that they recommended we order tapas style because the kitchen would struggle to get all the dishes out at the same time. I find most kitchens able to adapt to this issue so was interesting to hear that mentioned. Lastly, the restaurant was freezing, I kept my coat on the whole time and was still chilly. Sadly disappointed really wanted to like it.

This is no doubt one of the tastiest place to eat in the area. Always when I come there I am truly happy. They keep their very high level service and the topmost level of cooking they give. You can never go wrong with this place. Warmly recommended.

Kale Brussels salad is a MUST. I know it sounds gross at first but it’s amazing. The atmosphere is clean and cool and they serve very well prepped and fun flavors. Never had something I have disliked. Staff has always been friendly and helpful too!

This spot never fails to deliver. They have great food for fair rates, there no long wait even when they are packed.

Yard House was VERY busy, but there were still plenty of tables and we were seated right away. A server quickly checked in with us and was very polite and welcoming. After that, the visits from our server became fewer and far between. It was clear she was having to hustle between lots of tables (and it's a big restaurant with lots of space to cover).

Love everything on the menu! Brussel sprout salad, ahi tuna appetizer, ramen, sushi....so good.

We were impressed with the quality and fresh taste of all our food (the calamari, sushi, tacos and Nutella beignets were all delicious). The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere, very nice for date nights. The menu is set up for tapas, so it would be a good choice for groups too. My only qualm is that it's a little pricey, especially if you want a good amount of food (portions were smaller than typical for American restaurants- but that's by design, as it's geared towards small plates). However, for the quality of food it was just about worth it.

The Brussels sprout salad is possibly the best appetizer I have ever tasted. I had no idea sprouts could taste that phenomenal. Everything else was amazing as well, but that is something that I will crave once a week for the rest of my life!

Amazing food. Even more Amazing Living Wall in the back dining room. Over 300 living tropical plants in a beautiful arrangement constructed by local nonprofit organization Urban Blooms. Brussel Kale salad is a must! Ask to sit by the Living Wall in the back, sit back and enjoy great ambiance and great food. Oh and not to mention the hard working staff!!

I went with some friends to e+o last night, and the food was fantastic! We ordered and shared: steak tacos, fish tacos, the chicken bowl, dragons breath sushi, and edamame. All of it was excellent! We were at our table for almost 3 hours and our server Nate was friendly and never rushed us even when it took us forever to get around to ordering. I definitely recommend this place and I'm looking forward to eating there again.

The food here was really good, be sure to make a reservation well in advanced on the weekend if you want a table instead of sitting at the sushi bar. I had the number 4 roll and the carne asada tacos. Both were delicious and I definitely want to back to try new things.

Restaurant ambiance and food presentation are good. However, the ramen was so bland.

Thanks to Alex our first visit to E+O was awesome! The Hamachi Crudo was by far one of the best things I've eaten. The Hokkaido scallops & Ponzuna roll are good too. We'll be back here for sure.

The decor and atmosphere is where this spot wins over the hundred other nearby places. Great design and setup. Food is fine. Ramen seems standard quality you'd expect. Prices are typical hyde park level without being too out of control, but not cheap. Gonna have to come back and sample some of their sushi before I can compare that to all the others. Seems like a nice spot though. Perfect late evening with friends type vibe.

Very reliable for a quality meal out. Everyone says it, but I'll say it too, the brussel sprouts salad is a must and I always order double what we think we need because it always gets crushed. Service is usually quite good here too.

Service and drinks were good. Ramen was average—->light on umami with overcooked beef and missing the chili oil. Ambience was good and dining was well lit.

Enter: our waitress. She was incredibly helpful in the sense that we ordered everything she recommended -- starting with the best kale and brussels sprouts salad I've ever had. First of all, the portion was HUGE, but the flavor was even HUGER (if that's a word). The sweetness of the vinaigrette was the perfect balance to the salty crunchiness of the veggies and pieces of shrimp. I could see why it's one of the most popular items!

Very nice restaurant. The kale/brussel sprout salad is fantastic. The ramen and dragon roll were also great. Their take on bulgogi is a little different. A bit spicy and sort of deconstructed (sauce was think and slathered on the side of the bowl to dip). It was OK, but the other three dishes were much better and worth ordering again (imo). Overall great food though and will plan on going back.

The huevos rancheros was a bit too salty and didn't fill me up. I even have a pretty small stomach, so it doesn't take much. The oj, grapefruit, and guava mimosas were delicious.

Service is always stellar! The waiter made sure my party and I had everything we needed and gave us a plethora of recommendations for dietary restrictions. Portions are on the smaller side but are still bursting with flavor.

Always consistent! Ordered were backed up and had many groups in the restaurant. Was bit hard to catch our servers attention and everything bagel was soggy. But overall flavors are good.

The miso soup was amazing and the sake was really good. Best I ever had. The sushi was ok, not bad, but not the best.

Went here for a first date, very cute spot, not overly romantic but nice enough to dress up a bit have some cocktails and wine for the evening. The only reason I left a star off is becuase, for the price, the cocktails are tiny, and the sushi, though deliscious, is also a bit pricey. We ended up getting full on 3 rolls, but all of the other items looked great too and for more reasonably priced. Will for sure be back to try the rest of the menu!

Trendy location, great atmosphere, attentive and prompt wait staff. Definitely on the pricier side, so come dressed up (but not too hungry lol). Shared two rolls (Beluga & something else), pork buns, and ramen with a friend. Food was all fantastic. Hope to come again soon! :)

Stylish restaurant, great menu, food is amazingly tasty and we loved every dish that was recommended by our waitress. Excellent service and the food arrived in a very short time. The chef is a genius. Will be back.

Fantastic service, fantastic food. All recommendations were on point, service was attentive and informative, busser kept our table clear and waters full. Overall an excellent experience and we cannot wait to come back again.

Loved it.Although I and my son hated the Ramen noodle Dish we tried, just wasn't our particular Dish. But they happily provided us a new dish., ALL other food, sushi rolls and tacos were beyond delicious. Waiter was lovely and ambiance was just right Went mother's day and had just a lovely dinner.Loved their decor as well 😍

Eclectic plate selection with an awesome vibe. The food is delicious and the service matches. A great place to stop and take in Cincinnati.

E+O is an absolutely beautiful space. Very trendy, as one might expect, with lots of Instagram-able decor, including a plant wall, a wine wall, a cute string lighting. The Monday night dinner vibe was pretty lively, and the atmosphere all around was great.The staff has clearly been trained for this question, which is always appreciated.

Very nice place, small but comfy, nice decorations. Perfect for small data night or off work dinner. Highly recommend the salad and fried rice with egg. And ramen noodles are pretty good as well, especially the meet in it.

I would like to start the food was incredible. The Brussels sprout salad was incredible as was the Himachi and sushi roll we ordered. If it weren’t for the service we would have had an incredible time.......Our server was Rachel and she couldn’t have been more inattentive. We would have ordered another drink if she would have asked us, but instead she walked past us at least 10 times without asking if everything was okay or if we’d like anything else. We would have even ordered desert if we weren’t so turned off by her lack of caring, personality or even a smile. But for real........incredible food.

Incredible food. One of my fave places in Cincinnati. Good service, inventive sushi, and nice atmosphere. Personally love the Brussel Sprouts Salad (famous dish), the Salmon Tartare "everything bagel" (beautiful), the little steamed Taiwanese buns (duck or pork belly), and all the sushi rolls! Nice cocktails, too.
